Our laboratory allergy testing service combines advanced technology with patient comfort. From simple at-home blood collection to rapid results from our state-of-the-art laboratory, our testing can measure patient sensitisation for up to 295 allergens. We provide comprehensive IgE and IgG testing for precision-focused testing and broad-spectrum screening, depending on patient needs.

HYCOR NOVEOS
Bio-Diagnostics offers allergen-specific IgE testing using the highly innovative Hycor NOVEOS platform. NOVEOS revolutionises first-generation solid-phase assays using
advanced microparticle technology and chemiluminescent IgE detection. The service can be used to support clinicians in the diagnosis of allergic conditions by determining sensitisation with exceptional precision.
We are now offering a new tailored allergy testing option, if you would like to discuss collaborating with us to produce a bespoke panel for your clinic, we have a vast range of allergen extracts and components to test for. We also have set panels including core inhalants, basic food, occupational and others to meet a range of budgets and diagnostic needs.

The Hycor NOVEOS platform uses bead-based chemiluminescent immunoassay technology to measure allergen-specific IgE antibodies. Biotinylated allergens are immobilised on streptavidin-coated paramagnetic beads which capture IgE from patient blood serum. Following the addition of an HRP enzyme-labelled anti-IgE conjugate and chemiluminescent substrate, the emitted light signal is measured and converted into a quantitative specific-IgE result.
